Author & Speaker

Tope Fajingbesi is a respected thought leader, transformative executive, and social impact entrepreneur.

Driven by a passion for community empowerment and African development, Tope founded The She-EO (thesheeo.org), a global platform dedicated to amplifying the voices of women of African descent, and United for Kids Foundation (u4kids.org), which has transformed the lives of thousands of children in Nigeria. Her commitment to African development was further amplified through Impact Africa, a podcast she hosted to inspire Africans in the diaspora to actively contribute to the continent’s growth.

Tope’s professional journey includes roles at top firms such as Arthur Andersen and PwC and a tenure as a Lecturer at the University of Maryland, where she taught Agricultural Business Management courses and mentored future leaders in the field. She and her husband, Niyi Balogun, co-own Dodo Farms, a certified naturally grown produce farm in Maryland, which they have grown into a thriving, mission-driven enterprise.

An accomplished speaker and author, Tope has written several books, including Love in Cancun, Soulful Whispers, and A Mile in My Shoes—a deeply personal and inspiring memoir that takes readers on a journey through faith, love, heartbreak, and restoration.

Built for Impact

Resilience is the sacred power to keep becoming—again and again—despite grief, delay, detour, or disruption. It’s not just bouncing back; it’s rising rooted, wiser, and more whole each time life breaks you open. It’s how we turn pain into purpose, and survival into significance.

  • UKF is established exclusively for charitable, health, and educational activities targeted principally at children and families in need. Our goal is to create a vehicle that enables fortunate Nigerians and friends of Nigeria to apply their resources towards alleviating the unfortunate conditions of the less fortunate, sick, and orphaned children by providing them with necessary tools to overcome poverty, sickness, and illiteracy.

  • Dodo Farms is a certified Naturally Grown Produce Farm in Mount Airy, Howard County in Maryland. We grow a wide variety of seasonal vegetables such as spinach, kale, potatoes, broccoli, carrots, beets, tomato, peppers, arugula, raspberry, blackberry, collard greens, cabbage, lettuce and so much more. We are committed to supplying members of our community fairly priced, fresh and naturally grown produce, free of GMO seeds, pesticides, chemicals and fertilizers that are planted and harvested in our farm.

  • She-EO is a safe platform for women of African descent to have important conversations that matter. Primarily using experience sharing (a powerful learning strategy), She-EO empowers its audience to build resilience, and surmount obstacles to personal growth and community development.  In addition to curating powerful conversations, She-EO is building a strong network of women of African descent who impact Africa positively.

  • Tope Fajingbesi Balogun is a dynamic speaker who blends lived experience with deep insight to spark honest conversations about resilience, identity, and transformation. Her essays, articles, and books offer vulnerable truths and practical wisdom for anyone walking through seasons of transition or growth. Tope writes to honor stories that often go untold—and to remind us all that every chapter holds the power to transform.

  • Tope Fajingbesi Balogun is a certified coach and resilience guide helping women navigate life’s most tender transitions—grief, career pivots, infertility, and personal reinvention. Through her BloomWell method and coaching at Dodo Farms, Tope creates sacred, grounded spaces for clarity, courage, and forward motion. She believes healing is not a detour from success—it’s the foundation of it.cription
